David J. Barrows was raised to Heaven on November 28, 2024, from Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA, following a courageous, short battle with liver cancer.

David was born May 7, 1963, in Erie, PA, the son of Albert H. Barrows, Sr. and Barbara (Birmingham) Barrows. David, aka “GoGo”, graduated from Chambersburg High School. David worked for the Kirby Company of Chambersburg earning many awards and trips. Later in life, he moved to Slanesville, West Virginia on ten acres of great turkey and whitetail habitat. He and Faith Kronenberg had a son, Hunter Jacob Barrows, raised in West Virginia. David lost an eye and suffered a traumatic brain injury as the result of a 4-wheeler accident. He persevered to live 19 more years. He became a safety speaker for the state of West Virginia mainly advocating helmet safety on 4-wheelers. One of David’s proudest accomplishments was his 19 years of sobriety.

David is survived by: his brothers, Alan, Jeffrey (Denise), Mark, Kevin, and James; his sons Hunter Barrows, and his mother Faith Kronenberg and Bradley Lowe; many nieces and nephews, and his best friend Robert Boline, Florida. David is preceded in death by his parents, and his older brother John (Barbie) Barrows, North Carolina.
