Evelyn Lorene Montgomery

Evelyn Lorene Montgomery, born on May 2, 1952, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, at the age of 72. Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ervin Ray Barnes, born in 1972 and departed in 2000.

She leaves behind her cherished sons, Paul A. Krygier Jr. and his wife Melissa Krygier, and Shawn Sonifrank and his wife Stephanie Sonifrank.

Her legacy also includes her grandchildren: Christian Robert Barnes, Tony Strawsburg, Ireland Sonifrank, Rachael Krygier, Ervin Ray Barnes Jr., married to Amber Barnes, and their children Miranda and Ervin Barnes III; Heather Barnes, married to Anthony Martini, and their children Desirae and Morgan Martini.

Evelyn found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like heartfelt phone conversations with her best friend, Mary. She loved creating beautiful floral arrangements, often visiting Ervin Ray Barnes Sr.'s grave to leave her delicate tributes.

She always made sure her kids did not go without and always put them before herself. Evelyn was a selfless soul who adored all three of her sons.

Evelyn will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she showered upon her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Evelyn. Your love and light will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
