Sandra L. “Sandy” Elser, 59, of Chambersburg, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD. She was born in Chambersburg on May 20, 1962 to John W. Elser and Yvonne Corwell Elser.
She graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1980. She worked for the former Caledonia Manor Nursing Home and Falling Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center until her retirement due to health concerns. She enjoyed her vast collection of classic movies, working crossword puzzles, and online shopping.
She is survived by her mother Yvonne Elser of Chambersburg; two daughters: Kristin Elser and Kelsey Elser both of Chambersburg; four brothers: Jack (husband of Darlene) Elser, John B. Elser, Jim (fiancé of Tammie Walls) Elser all of Chambersburg and Randy (husband of Stacy) Elser of Fayetteville, PA, and her very adored grandchildren Adrianna Smith and Aiden Elser both of Chambersburg and Aithen Elser-Clipp of Union Bridge, MD.
She is preceded in death by her father John W. Elser; her paternal grandparents, Robert & Dora Elser; her maternal grandparents Charles & Blanche Corwell and her life partner of 27 years Donald Guyer.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc., Chambersburg, PA.
