Terry L. Oberholzer, 61, of St. Thomas, PA passed away at home on Sunday, May 9, 2021 after a battle with cancer. Born March 2, 1960 in Washington County, MD to the late Merle “Buster” and Matilda J. (Bingaman) Oberholzer. He was a lifelong resident of the Greencastle and St. Thomas area.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lori K. (Glaser) Oberholzer; his beloved dogs, Ellie Mae and Maggie Mae; his daughter, Jessica (Oberholzer) Doyle and her husband Brett along with two step-grandsons, Sean and Brennen Doyle; his daughter Ashley Oberholzer; and many other fur baby grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Oberholzer, Brenda (Oberholzer) Spidel and Rose Marie (Oberholzer) Hager, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
After attending high school at Greencastle Antrim High School, he went to work for Grove Manufacturing, Shady Grove, PA for 20 years. After being laid off from Grove he worked at several local companies in manufacturing until going to work in 2011 at JLG, Shippensburg, PA. He quit working in 2019 due to ongoing health issues.
Terry was a private person, enjoying time at home with his wife and dogs, making model classic cars, reading classic car books and magazines and spending time with his daughters. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music and watching American Pickers and several paranormal TV shows.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc. 1680 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
